Russian drone strike on Zaporizhzhia: One killed, three wounded

A Russian drone attack on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia overnight killed one woman and wounded three others, regional authorities said on early Monday.

Russian forces launched Shahed-type drones against the city late on Sunday (June 21) and in the early hours of Monday, striking residential neighbourhoods and damaging homes.

Fifty-eight-year-old survivor Artur, who stood among the wreckage, told Reuters that the strike killed his wife, Natalia, while he suffered substantial injuries to his calf.
