A Russian drone attack on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia overnight killed one woman and wounded three others, regional authorities said on early Monday.
Russian forces launched Shahed-type drones against the city late on Sunday (June 21) and in the early hours of Monday, striking residential neighbourhoods and damaging homes.
Fifty-eight-year-old survivor Artur, who stood among the wreckage, told Reuters that the strike killed his wife, Natalia, while he suffered substantial injuries to his calf.
Ukrainian Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov, on Saturday, said on Telegram that there had been nine strikes in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
